Not A Kids Game Anymore
Oddly it is not just the kids who enjoy playing with a Lego train or two, many
adults still like to relieve their stress after a hard day's work hunched over the Lego train set
striving to build ever more complex trains and in many cases you will find railroad enthusiasts
striving to recreate real life trains using hundreds if not thousands of pieces of Lego.
Although the Lego train and the Lego train station may have
changed significantly over the last 40 or so years the amount of fun that can be had build them
according to the original plan or coming up with your own ideas is limitless. Some of the newer
sets of Lego trains are loosely based on the ones and in some cases by ones that have been
created by those who love to build trains with their Lego.
Building a Lego train can be a great way to challenge the motor skills of a
child and help develop his sense of imagination and accomplishment all while having a good time
playing.
While the original Lego trains were only powered by imagination, the ones
you buy today are powered by battery operated motors to keep them running on the tracks. These make
an excellent starter train for kids who think they might want to get into model trains as a hobby.
Building the trains piece by piece teaches them endless patience as they strive to recreate the
train in the picture or create one of their own.

We Leave It To Your
Imagination
While every Lego train set has always come with a particular
train and layout design carefully laid out in the instructions, this is only meant as a place to
start.
The real value is inspiring kids to use their imagination to
create trains and tracks of their own. You can create several different layouts with one set of
Lego or if you combine several sets together you can create as many layouts as your mind can see
and make them as big or small as you want.
If building Lego trains at home is not enough to keep your
child occupied you can go to the Lego website and play the Lego train game.
This fun game is intended for the younger children and can
be a lot of fun as they learn to steer the train without crashing into the walls and picking up the
various items and people along the way.
Online or off, Lego trains are still
just as much fun as they were when the first came out.
