History
Lego has been build train sets since the 1960's and even today still
offers two different trains sets and a Lego train station to go with them. You can buy
additional track pieces and enough building kits to create your own city right out of the box. Of
course half of the fun of Lego is the ability to create your own imaginary world and building your
own Lego city with a train station is all part of the fun.
The Lego City train stations that come as kits generally include a
stationmaster figure and are limited in size; however this does not stop the creative builder from
using these as a starting point to creating fantastic train stations of his own to go with his Lego
City train set.

imaginable building as those who have created them have sent in their pictures and
designs.
While the early Lego train sets were very simple affairs that were
designed to be built relatively quickly and provide hours of fun pushing the train around the
track, today's train set are a little more complex and use a battery powered locomotive to move the
train around the oval of track that comes with the set. With the addition of extra track you can
create your own model railroad layout and make it as big as your dreams can stretch.

Lego has always been for children, even though it is still enjoyed by many
